What is whose
Her books, her films, her games — and the shell that was built around them.
The writing — all of it hers
Twenty-three books. Every word is Krissy Hall’s: the four big books and their two youth editions, the five Little Stars storybooks at all three reading levels, and the twelve Little Explorers with their affirmations. A gate in this build compares every sentence on every page against her own manuscripts and stops the build on a single changed word.
Her films and her games
Both films are hers, byte for byte — nothing was re-cut or re-narrated. The eight games carry her questions, feelings, foods, thoughts and sentences; only the shell around them is new, so they inherit this site’s storage rule, keyboard handling and content-security policy. The read-along movies use her own scene captions.
The covers
Every cover on this site is hers except three. She painted the four big books, both youth editions, all twelve Little Explorers, and two of the five Little Stars — Little Stars and Friends Across the Water. The remaining three Little Stars jackets — The Kindness Machine, The Whole Wide Home, I Am a Little Star — had no painting, so they were rendered here to match her own Library Cover Poster: her emoji, her title, her tagline, her gradient, her rings, her footer line. They are hers in every element and mine only in the assembling.
Each Little Explorer also carries the mark she drew for it — those are her own SVG, lifted out of her files and re-drawn on the page rather than re-created.
Generated footage — 7 loops
The moving backgrounds have no photograph behind them, so they were generated
with OpenAI sora-2 and are disclosed as generated. Every one is abstract: no
person, no face, no hands, no lettering in any frame. Each is cut so its last frames dissolve
into its first, then checked frame by frame.

The voices
Every “Read to me” on this site is your own browser’s speech engine, chosen deliberately: it means no audio is fetched, nothing is streamed, and a child can read along offline. It also means the voice differs by device, and on the few browsers without one the button says so rather than failing silently.
